Firefighters from the East Irbid Civil Defense Directorate swiftly responded today to a blaze at a furniture warehouse in Irbid, which broke out in a showroom storage area on Al-Hashimi Street.

The warehouse, spanning 170 square meters, contained ready-made furniture.

According to a spokesperson, the fire was quickly brought under control thanks to the rapid response and high preparedness of the firefighting teams.

One woman suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated on the scene before being transferred to Princess Basma Governmental Hospital for further care.

Authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
